The Quality of Association and Reputation
The Green Alliance will maintain a high caliber of business people whose relationships will stress accountability to the customer and the best possible green products or services available. Because the Alliance will be engaging in Co-Branding, your business will benefit from the reputation and association of other local green partners. Green Alliance businesses offer a superior standard of sustainable products and services at competitive prices.
While we hope to grow the Green Alliance to include some 100+ businesses and 10,000+ CO-OP members, we will start with a small and manageable number of local companies. Only 1 "type" of business will be encouraged to join the Alliance to foster a non-competitive exchange of ideas and customer networks. Similar businesses that offer substantially different or complimentary services may be partners in the Alliance with the exception of the two founding business types, (Biofuels and Organic lawn care) and no direct competitors in the same market place.
The seacoast Green Alliance is local in spirit, and so in an effort to honor that strength, we discourage membership of the largest national chains.
